How to do business with governmental agencies

Join us for a free event discussing requirements for doing business with governmental agencies, such as the City of Peoria, Peoria Housing Authority, CityLink, USDA, Peoria Public Schools District 150, among others.

Members of these agencies and other business resources will be available for an open networking session, which begins at 10:15 a.m.  These governmental agencies are seeking companies that are existing or potential DBE, MBE, WBE, 8(a), Section 3, or Service-Disabled Veteran owned.  Small business owners will be able to get valuable information on certifications processes and requirements to do business with governmental agencies.

Scattered Site Unit Renovations Phase I

The Peoria Housing Authority will receive bids for the “Scattered Site Unit Renovations Phase I” project until 2:00 p.m. (prevailing Peoria time) on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 100 S. Richard Pryor Place Road, Peoria, Illinois, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be considered.

On Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (prevailing Peoria time), the Peoria Housing Authority will conduct a Pre-Bid Conference at the Administration Building, located at 100 S. Richard Pryor Place, Peoria, Illinois. Bidding documents will be available for $20.00 (non-refundable, check or money order only) at the Pre-Bid Conference. Site visits will only be available following the Pre-Bid Conference.

Following the Pre-Bid Conference, copies of the bidding documents may be examined in the Modernization Department, 100 S. Richard Pryor Place, Peoria.
